The North Caucasus Research Institute of Construction Materials and Technologies, Stromtechnika, is a leader
in the realization of the most cost-effective technologies for producing clay bricks. The company is involved in the
entire process of building and starting up brick - making factories. Our services include design and cost estimates,
equipment supply, project construction, and installation and testing of equipment.
Stromtechnika was founded as a private enterprise in 1989. Most of the company's employees have more
than 30 years of experience in designing and building brick - making factories. Since its inception, the company
has designed, built and started up dozens of factories in various countries.
You can get positive feedback about our work from the managers of numerous factories that our team has
designed and built.
Our company employs some of the highest-performing technologies in the market, allowing a factory to make 50-percent
hollow facing bricks out of low-quality clays.
We offer the stiff extrusion method of brick - making. This process includes making bricks on an extrusion press,
using clay with a moisture of 12-14%.
The high durability of the green bricks makes it possible to stack them on the kiln cars immediately after cutting.
The brick-drying process takes place on these cars.
Because of the low moisture in the green bricks, the drying process is several times shorter.
The bricks are completely dry by the time the kiln car moves to the firing kiln.
This results in a dramatic decrease in the amount of power needed in the drying process. In addition,
this production method eliminates the necessity of drying frames or pallets.
There is also no need to employ automatic stackers, storage units, drying frame feeders, electric transfer cars,
or additional fuel for running the dry kilns - all expensive types of equipment and resources used at a typical
brick - making factory.
Thus, a brick - making factory using our technology is more than 150% smaller in size and more than 200% cheaper to build.
The number of staff needed to maintain this kind of factory is also dramatically reduced.
In analyzing the productivity of the factories we have built, we found that the profitability of brick production
exceeded 100%. The pay-back period on investments in building this type of factory is three to four years.
We recommend using the stiff extrusion technology to produce high-quality facing brick in locations where medium- or
high-quality clay is available.
We provide the most cost-effective technology, from raw clay to finished brick.
